Mary Kelava, Author, Teacher, Florist

Mary Kelava is the author of the award-winning book “A Bouquet of Words: Express Yourself through the Language of Flowers”.

Prior to writing her highly anticipated book, Mary worked as a teacher and deepened her knowledge of flowers as a florist.

Flowers have played an important part in Mary’s life since an early age - one of her earliest memories involves sweet peas in her mother’s country garden!

Over the years, Mary learned that flowers are more than just pretty plants and in fact have real significance and use in our daily lives.

She learned how to grow flowers in her garden, display arrangements around her home, and curate bouquets for gifts or special events (including weddings, funerals, milestone birthdays, anniversaries).

Mary also explored the role that flowers play in wellness and holistic practices - everything from managing emotions & feelings, to aromatherapy and stress-reduction, and how flowers are here to support you beyond aesthetics.

Mary invites you to read her book or delve into the content on her blog to discover the joys of flowers and their language and meaning!
